Welcome to Gwinnett Veterans Memorial Museum
Welcome Message from the Museum Director
“Thank you for visiting our site. As you navigate through the site you will learn what the museum is all about. It is about honoring all military veterans, especially those whom have fallen on the battlefield in service to our great country. Additionally, the museum enables visitors of all ages to gain both a better understanding of significant military events and a greater awareness of the sacrifices of the men and women who gave so much for our freedom. This is why I encourage you to visit our museum and experience the fascinating history of Gwinnett County veterans and/or their families. On behalf of the museum staff, we look forward to your visit.”
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the history and artifacts of American Veterans and their service to our world today.
The Gwinnett Veterans Memorial Museum is a tribute to all brave men and women who have defended our land and liberties from the Revolutionary War to the present, including the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf Wars, and Operation Enduring Freedom.
As you tour the museum, you'll be captivated by the stories of men and women who gave so much to our country and for our freedoms. The museum is filled with a collection of wartime artifacts, memorabilia, and uniforms from all branches of the service.
The museum is staffed entirely by volunteers and most are veterans.
